Cliff Elicker

Since graduating from Penn State in 1975, Cliff Elicker has worked as a civil engineer.  Most of his experience has been in highway design and design supervision of large PennDOT and PA Turnpike projects.  Whenever possible, he is involved with the ROCK Youth Center in Oakdale since its inception in 2006, as well as participating in disaster relief efforts with Samaritan’s Purse.  This same focus on serving others has led Cliff to joining the Project Team for West Allegheny Workcamp.

Born in Millersville, just west of Lancaster, Cliff grew up in a “Leave it to Beaver” household with one brother and two sisters.  He got married to (the little red-haired girl) Debbie after graduating from Penn State.  After 7 ½ years in Harrisburg, they moved to Oakdale in 1983 and joined Oakdale UP Church.  Four children and 3 grandchildren later, they seem as busy as ever.  Cliff and Debbie both believe it’s truly a blessing and honor to be in a position to serve others, as the “giver” is often blessed more than the “receiver”.  Debbie works as the West Allegheny Middle School Nurse, and hopes to reconnect with her passion, the Crisis Pregnancy Center.  Cliff is excited to serve on the Project Team for the West Allegheny Workcamp, see others needs and step up to meet those needs!
